Can i close my bank account from online banking or mail?

Hello,

I'm not in Germany and i have a bank account in bw bank. My account is in negative balance but i will fix it. Can i close my bank account in mobile banking application or via mail?

My final question is can i close my bank account in a day after i fix the negative balance of account in a bw bank branch?

we very much regret your decision to close your account with us.

In order to be able to close your current account, we need your complete request (including the closure date and settlement account) as a TAN-legitimised order via the following link:

https://www.bw-bank.de/auftrag-uebermitteln

Your order cannot be processed without a clearing account.

Alternatively, you can also submit a written request.

Please state your new bank details in your letter so that we can settle the final balance and enclose a copy of your identity card (front and back).
