Open a new checking account

Hello,

My daughter will be doing her internship for six months in Daimler Truck in Stuttgart. We will be renting an apartment in the area during that. Since she will get paid, we figured we can open a checking account so that her paycheck will be directed deposited. Is it possible to open a checking account and also start an online banking? Thank you,

Thank you so much. Yes we will have a German address. We have flat in the area. Does the account include SEPA account scheme with IBAN?

yes, the account has an IBAN number and can be used for SEPA payment transactions.
